Looking for convenient and well-equipped accommodation in Chiayi? LIGHT HOSTEL, located near Chiayi Train Station, is a minimalist yet fully-functional youth hostel. After staying for multiple days, I gave it a perfect 10/10 rating, especially recommending it to digital nomads who value workspace quality.

LIGHT HOSTEL is located in the heart of Chiayi City, with obvious geographical advantages:

Surrounding Area
Restaurants, food stalls, and convenience stores are densely packed nearby. Basically, whatever you want to eat can be found within walking distance. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late-night snacks, there are abundant choices.
Transportation Convenience
For backpackers relying on public transportation, this location is perfect. From the train station, you can reach the hostel on foot without needing additional transportation. Most major attractions in Chiayi City are also within walking distance.

Hand-washed items can be hung to dry; the dryer is available, too.

Although the hostel doesn’t have a passenger elevator, it has a luggage elevator! Large luggage can take the elevator directly to your floor, significantly reducing the burden of carrying – this is good point.

The first floor has a luggage storage area. You can continue exploring after checkout with your luggage safely stored.
Internet Quality
I used my own internet, but observed foreign travelers using the hostel’s Wi-Fi to watch videos without obvious issues, so the speed should be stable.
